The Wichita Force returned to INTRUST Bank Arena and entered the game fighting for a playoff spot. The Force are looking to gain one of the top three spots for the Southern Conference. With the playoff race heating up, the team is looking to finish the season red hot! The Wichita Force played a hard-fought game that came down to the final seconds of regulation. The Force were able to pull out the win with a final score of 59-58 over the Bismarck Bucks.
The Force had another solid outing from their star quarterback Rocky Hinds. Hinds threw for four touchdowns and 244 yards against the Bismarck Bucks. Hinds was able to hit his targets across the field throughout the course of Saturday’s game. He was able to create havoc and tear apart the opposing defense. Also with Rocky’s performance, he was assisted by solid performances by D.A. Allen, Charles Johnson, and Chris “Hit-Stick” Hemphill. Touchdowns were flying around all evening in INTRUST Bank Arena.
Special teams stepped up the intensity and were able to have a solid evening of returns throughout the game. Kendrick Harper was able to return a missed field goal by the Bismarck Bucks, and take the return 45 yards for a Wichita Force touchdown. Harper was also able to contribute a solid night alongside his defensive teammate Marcus Carter. Carter had 13 tackles for the game, as well as he was able to collect 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
